Chester River's Ruffatto goes for gold at Rowing Nationals
The Chester
River Rowing Club scored one
gold-, three silver- and five
bronze.medal finishes at the
USRowing Masters National
Championship regatta on the
Cooper River earlier this month.
Pitted against crews from
across North America. including
legendary powerhouses from
the mid-At1antic, New England,
the Midwest and the Pacific
Coast, Chester River's rowers "batted 500; medaling in nine of
their 18 events. Eleven women

Nationals squad collectively
brought home 21 individual
medals, a feat that gave the locals
a respectable ranking of 19th
among 38 women's teams from
